Story

Mohanlal plays a farmer, Mathews while Thilakan plays Jeremias, his father. Mathews is tries to realize his father's dream of setting up a huge farmhouse with cattle, vegetables and the like, on the banks of the river Periyar. But things go from bad to worse as a rich man by the name of Aluva Chandy (Lalu Alex) lands up. Chandy tries to buy his land but Mathews resists the deal.The film narrates how Mathews resists Chandy's wily moves.
