POV-fork?

Correct me if I am wrong, but this is just a copy and paste of a chunk from Occupation of Poland (1939–1945), thus a POV fork of an existing article ander a move POVed name. Or is there anything else here? --Irpen 01:02, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to familiarize yourself with basics of article writing by reading WP:SUMMARY. The info in the occupation article needs to be shortened, and this article expanded.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 01:08, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Note that you answer a narrow question with WP:THIS or WP:THAT. I repeat the question to make it easier. Is this article just a copy and paste of a chunk from Occupation of Poland (1939–1945)? --Irpen 01:11, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would really suggest you try to write some articles, this would help you to gain perspective and understanding on how they are created. I linked the relevant policy and how to above, excuse me but I don't have time to discuss basics of editing further.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 01:37, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps we could allow editors some time to move and adjust content and summarize the original in the parent before we go around pouncing and nominating stuff for deletion? This sort of chewing up of editors' time to respond to yet another thing somewhere instead of working on content doesn't contribute to WP. Just a thought. —PētersV (talk) 14:14, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. Don't hesitate to make this comment at the deletion discussion page.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:34, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is valuale content and should be edited rather than deleted. The story of what happened in Poland during and after the war is credible history, well documented, and should be available to WP users. [user: siteobserver, 21 February 2008]

Dear anon, no one call for the deletion of this "valuable content" which could still use a lot of NPOVing. This content will stay well at its original location at Occupation of Poland (1939–1945). You can find it there and improve further. It was pasted from there in the inflammatory title with no good purpose and created a classic POV-fork. --Irpen 05:55, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Piotrus already told us the purpose for creating the article. And how is this title inflammatory? Were people repressed? Inflammatory language is needlessly calling political posters "radical", not this. Ostap 17:57, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article title

Please, watch for proper grammar.

I think we have only just skimmed the surface of "Soviet repression" with Wikipedia, check out the wealth of material:

  • 661 hits in google books [1]
  • 746 hits in google scholar [2]

Post-"liberation" persecutions

Tens of thousands were deported to the East, many of them died. Polish leaders were imprisoned, a number of AK officers murdered in public executions.Xx236 (talk) 09:21, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
