Photos of Ghosts is the first album sung in English by the Italian progressive rock band Premiata Forneria Marconi. Released in 1973, it includes English versions of songs from their two previous albums Storia di un minuto and Per un amico as well as one new, instrumental song, Old Rain and one song in Italian Il Banchetto ("The Banquet.")
Some of the songs on this album were significantly changed from the earlier recordings. Five of the seven songs were given entirely new lyrics in English (not translations) by King Crimson lyricist Peter Sinfield. One of these, "Mr. 9 'till 5", was originally an instrumental titled "Generale."
