So Get Up was a 1993 track by the Portuguese house music production duo Underground Sound of Lisbon. It was the B-Side of their first 12"-single called Chapter One. Music is credited to DJ Vibe & Doctor J, with lyrics by Korvorwong (aka Darin Pappas).
It was also released as a-side. It is a underground progressive house music, with words spoken by MC Korvorwong, about "End of The World".
SO GET UP, become somewhat of a Portuguese dance music "national anthem", since it was the tune that took many clubbers (better club users) to get interested in house music. Famous for it's shouting "So Get Up, forget the past, the end of the world is upon us! Pretty soon it will all turn to dust!"
Original 12" mix is 9 minutes and 22 secs long, and was originally released as the B side of the Chapter One E.P. The A Side being "Dance With Me" (a track sampling Age Of Love. In Portugal this was released by KAOS Records, and worldwide by Tribal UK and Twisted Records (U.S.).
In 1994, the UK edition of the single (now as A side), had a few remixes by Danny Tenaglia and Junior Vasquez as well as an original mix and acapella version.
In 2003, Miss Kittin used the intro of "So Get Up" on her album "Radio Caroline: Volume 1".
