She is one of the more obscure New Gods and was not created by [[Jack Kirby]]. Her history is comparatively minimal - about a dozen appearances, virtually all of them between 1977 and 1978 and only in pre-Crisis continuity. It has been revealed that she was once one of [[Granny Goodness]]' students, but not if she was a [[Female Furies|Female Fury]]. The blue-skinned, yellow-eyed and crimson-haired Jezebelle was always depicted as being reluctant to kill, so when she was captured during a battle with [[New Genesis]], she defected.
