Oorlans (also: Oorlands, Oorlams) is a West Germanic, Low German linguistic entity spoken worldwide by less than 1 million people and is spoken in the Republic of South Africa. It is considered an Afrikaans-based creole language by some observers. Oorlans has some elements from Bantu languages.
