Michael Tawiah (born December 1, 1990 in Accra, Ghana) is a Ghanaian International footballer, who currently plays for Bulgarian PFC Levski Sofia in the A PFG. He typically plays as a defensive midfielder.
Career
Tawiah started his career in Amba F.C. in Ghana.
Lokomotiv Mezdra
In June 2008 he relocated to Bulgaria, signing a contract with Lokomotiv Mezdra. In his first season in Mezdra, Michael played for reserve squad of the team. Tawiah's first official match was against Slavia Sofia on 15 August 2009. He entered as a substitution in the 55 minute. For Lokomotiv, he earned 10 appearances playing in the A PFG, scored one goal and provided four assists.
Levski Sofia
On 28 January 2010, Tawiah was bought by Levski Sofia for a transfer fee of 30,000 €. He signed a 2,5-years contract.
International career
On August 11, 2009, Tawiah made his debut for Ghana U-20 in a friendly match against Bulgaria U21.
