Why is there a link to FANUC Robotics? What is the relationship to GE Fanuc? --Ishi Gustaedr 22:00, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- GE Fanuc is a joint venture between GE and Fanuc Robotics. Fanuc owns half (or nearly so) of GE Fanuc) (IMS91319 13:53, 4 May 2007 (UTC))
- I believe GE Fanuc is a joint venture between GE and FANUC LTD, not FANUC Robotics (see http://www.gefanuc.com/as_en/aboutus/company/index.html). FANUC Robotics is a subsidiary of FANUC LTD according to its wikipedia entry. So they are sort of sister companies, I guess. --Ishi Gustaedr 16:44, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
