Early years

Maxx Frank was born Clarence N. Frank on June 25, 1966 in Hammond, Indiana. He is the son of a 6th grade school teacher and Marine and a Church of God in Christ pastor. Maxx began playing the piano at the age of 3 years old and by the age of 12 was the main organist at his father's church. He is the 5th child of 7 siblings. Musical career

Maxx began his professional career with the Gospel music group, The Winans. Later he joined the gospel group Commissioned.

He has produced and written songs for Commissioned, Fred Hammond, Carman, The Winans, 98 Degrees, Handel’s Messiah, Jesse Campbell, Dawkins & Dawkins, and Yolanda Adams. He has also produced and written 700+ jingles for television and radio commercials. [citation needed]

His influences are Organist/Pastor Elder David Blakely his son David Allen Blakely, Thomas Whitfield, The Winans, George Shearing, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Quincy Jones, Twinkie Clark, Charles Guyger, Stevie Wonder. [citation needed]

He has founded the production company named “Rock You 1 Entertainment.”
