NOTICE! I patrol Special:Recentchanges regularly for edits by anonymous IPs. This means that I look at several dozen edits a minute. I don't spend too much time on each one. It's therefore quite possible that I see one that looks suspicious but is in fact valid, particularly if the information added is radically different from the rest of the article, or otherwise unexpected and surprising.

If I've rolled back one of your edits, or an edit which you saw that you feel is valuable, I am sorry: please feel free to reinstate it, and I probably won't notice (but consider dropping a note here and/or on the talk page first, just in case). Thanks for your concern. :)

Character assassination, bigots and ilks

It is clear that a cabal of censorous pov bigots have falsely accused me of being a "troll", "vandal", or of making "abusive comments" on some TalkPages, or of "breaking the 3-revert rule". This is psychological projection by a pov mob or ilk of lying hypocrites. I do request Sam Spade, to be my "advocate", and I also can provide evidence to demonstrate the fact that those here attempting to have me banned and to have me censored, are themselves "trolls", "vandals", and have themselves broken the 3-revert rule and have hurled "personal insults" and have abused and used slanderous and false personal insults and "abusive comments" as their own stock in trade and in their own pov bigoted and biased campaign of "character assassination".-PV

I should note I tend to be particularly frenetic with anons who create spurious pages. I try to get the test message on their talk page before I reflexively update RC, by which time the entry is often deleted, and the anon address is wiped out. It leads to some sloppy things like that. Anna spessard

Nope, the vfd notice was intentional. I'm conservative about using speedy deletion, even in cases where it's obvious to me that it won't survive the VfD listing (like this one.) It's a tossup – it saves everyone time if it's just deleted on sight, but I worry that the more I make a habit of that, the more likely that I'll make a mistake. Isomorphic 06:03, 26 Apr 2004 (UTC)

I had every right to call him a Wikinazi, considering that it is an accepted term within the Wikicommunity. Anyway what happened to free speech? The American administration is doing enough at the moment to curb our rights, you don't need to pitch in your bit too.

It's a standard unicode character, the "LOWER RIGHT PENCIL". Comes out of the Dingbats block. I'm not sure what font one has to download to get it to work, other than I had it installed, and most (but not all) of the windows machines at the university have it as well.
