Punk Goes Pop 2 is the second compilation album released from the Punk Goes... series created by Fearless Records to feature covers by various artists of pop songs, and is the eighth album in the series overall.[1] It was released on March 9, 2009, in the United Kingdom,[2] and March 10, 2009, in the United States.[3] The album debuted at number 15 on the Billboard 200, selling 21,000 copies in its first week.[4]

The album's release was originally slated for February.
