A fictional caste of Sith described as 'seeking the ways of darkness and shadow, the power that comes from striking unseen and sensing weaknesses in others... Masters in the ways of stealth and camouflage'.

In knights of the old republic, there are various references to sith assassins as 'hunting down the jedi where they congregate'. Also, a blaster in the game, found on the corpse of a dark jedi is named 'Sith assassin pistol', which is also used by other enemies, such as the sith admiral Saul Karath.
