All Sport is a brand of sports drink similar to Gatorade and Powerade. It was created by PepsiCo, as their response to The Coca-Cola Company's Powerade and Stokely-Van Camp's Gatorade, now owned by PepsiCo. (All Sport originally was carbonated, but this was changed after consumers objected.) After PepsiCo's acquisition of the Quaker Oats Company, the makers of Gatorade, in 2001, All Sport was purchased by the The Monarch Beverage Company, of Atlanta, Georgia. In 2007, All Sport was purchased by Gary Smith who is currently the chairman & CEO of All Sport, Inc. based in Austin, Texas. All Sport is a subsidiary of Big Red, Inc. and distributed by the Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
