Cieli di Toscana is Andrea Bocelli's ninth album, released in the United States on October 16, 2001. That year, Bocelli received a Platinum Europe Award after his worldwide sales reached a million.[1] A DVD of music videos of Bocelli singing the tracks of the album, was released the following year, called Tuscan Skies. Released only a month after the September 11 attacks, the album sold 4,5 million units woldwide, less then half of each of Bocelli's previous pop albums, Romanza and Sogno.
