Game play
In Deepolis, the player takes on the role of under water admiral commanding a submarine in a three dimensional underwater world, with the aim of completing quests and sinking other players and NPCs. As a result, the player collects experience points (EP) and advances upwards through the levels.
The game optionally supports player clans, both for PVP and PVE play.
It is possible to win a maximum amount of 10,000 Euro in a tournament.[clarification needed] All players enter a Jackpot battle combat competition with other players on a special Jackpot battle map. You can collect your Jackpot Euros in the game by collecting flotsam. If you don’t collect the whole 10,000 Euros, you will get your collected amount of Jackpot Euros if you are able to win the Jackpot battle.
Costs
The game is free, but you can buy extra subs, weapons, equipment or ammo for “Helix“. Helix is a game currency that you can buy with your countries currency. You can also receive helix for making special quests, sinking NPCs or collecting it. There is a second game currency as well, it is called “Cel”. You earn it by sinking NPCs and collecting throughout the game world. On the top of that you can bid Cel in the virtual auctions in the virtual Marina. So you have the possibility to obtain elite items without paying for them with real currency.
If you want to pay less for the sub repair or obtain further additional advantages in the game, you can buy the Premium: for six or twelve months. All players can also buy extra packages in the game.
Technology
The Deepolis client is based entirely on the Adobe Flash. As a result of this you can play this game in every available browser.
