He rose to fame when he placed third overall in the first Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition[5]. He was billed as the "Amboy Hottie" from General Santos City.[6] Since the end of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition, Anderson along with his love team partner, Kim Chiu, have appeared together in several shows on the ABS-CBN Network and have been tapped to do several television advertisements and product endorsements. In 2008, Anderson and Chiu launched their second and third teleseryes with ABS-CBN entitled My Girl and My Only Hope. Anderson and Chiu had a Primetime Bida in 2009 with Jake Cuenca entitled Tayong Dalawa (English: The Two of Us), which was the second time the trio had worked together.
