Their first line-up was as follows: Leader Vic Malcolm(Guitar), Tom Hill(Bass) & Brian Gibson(Drums) and when they were looking for a singer they found [[Brian Johnson]] from a band called Buffalo. they soon released their 1973 Debut "Hope You Like It" and when famous [[AC/DC]] singer [[Bon Scott]] died in 1980, AC/DC came calling for Brian. He left them that same year releasing AC/DC's ground-breaking album "[[Back In Black]]". Geordie then recorded an album without Brian named "No Sweat" in 1983 which didn't have much sucess. Two years later, in 1985, they changed their name to Powerhouse and released their album which was eponymous in 1986 and was not up to standard and then quit. They reunited for a comeback gig sometime in the 90's. |
