Jack Charles is an Australian aboriginal actor.
Born 5.9.43 and taken from his mother at 10 months. He appeared in The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith[1] and a number of other Australian films[2]. He was also involved in establishing indigenous theatre in Australia[3].
Jack Charles was the subject of the 2008 Documentary Bastardy[4] which described him as: 'Addict. Homosexual. Cat burglar. Actor. Aboriginal.' (the tagline of the documentary).
