Thank you for your suggestion! When you feel an article needs improvement, please feel free to make whatever changes you feel are needed. Anyone care to add a 'Critisism' section of the CPS? As a resident in Calgary, I have noticed quite a few shortcomings. Arrogance, agression and abuse of power being just a few issues when dealing with the (hopefully) minority of constables. What with all the hoo-ha of the Vancouver RCMP killing that poor Polish guy at the airport by tasering him a while back, I guess its relvant.

Anyone with articles or news stories we could pad this out with? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.210.58.185 (talk) 21:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Criticism

Okay, this comment is added 25 months after the last comment above. No person has been motivated to improve the quality of the main article, and nobody has been foolish enough to criticize the Calgary Police. In the wake of my criticism published in the Calgary Herald, I went to live in Toronto but after 9-1-1 left Canada entirely for the Mohave Desert of California. But I watch. Carefully.

The 1993 non-premeditated and accidental death of Cst. Rick Sonnenberg, while a teenager was =joy riding=, was used with intimidation and with larger and larger political levers to formulate and impose the current Police State. Civil liberties in Canada are all but being herded into gas chambers. The Charter of Rights is Emperor's Clothing. How any of the justices of the Canadian Supreme Court can face themselves in mirrors or get a night's sleep is beyond me. Canada's noteworthy health care system was once redemptive of the nation's flaws. Those days are gone. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.82.67.202 (talk) 18:55, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
