There's no WAY this could really be "the world's largest highland games" -- could it? Shawn, Monteal, 08/2006

I don't have the facts but it is fairly large, their are often 5 or more bands for the massed bands segnement. I agree it is worthy of a separate article..cmacd 20:41, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is my Father was from this town before moving out to Calgary. In this small town of 500 people thousands came.
