The Dark Side also known as (The Darkside: Volume 1) and (The Darkside) is the tenth studio album by rapper Fat Joe.The album was announced in January 2010 by Fat Joe saying that "he was working on a new album, The Darkside: Volume 1". MTV News reported that Fat Joe intended "all the material...to be much harsher" than his previous album. Production will come from The Alchemist, Cool & Dre, Streetrunner, and possibly Scott Storch, with guest performances by DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, and Young Jeezy.[2] It is set for a June 29, 2010 release date.[3]

Background

On March 28, 2010 Fat Joe signed a record deal with E1 Music and will release The Dark Side through the label this June.[4]
