Frederick Slade Drake-Brockman (1857-1917) was born near Northam in Western Australia. He was an explorer of Western Australia, and Surveyor General of Western Australia in 1915 [1] He married Australian heroine Grace Bussell and was father of Edmund Drake-Brockman and Deborah Vernon Hackett.
