Grapes

I just ate a grape and i JIZZED IN MY PANTS —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.3.157.117 (talk) 22:03, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Video reached 18+ million views on yotuube ... creators sure jizzed in their pants. In the rception part of the article, it only mention half a dozen 'critics' who thought nothing of the video. Like their opinions matter. This video has been getting nothing but positive responses and HUGE amount of views. -G —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.246.112.186 (talk) 08:49, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, positive responses on youtube are about as valid as negative reviews from 'critics'. If the number of views is the yardstick we must use, then Rick Astley is god.209.144.248.164 (talk) 04:56, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

iTunes

Is it necessary to mention that this song is #39 on the iTunes charts?

Ummmm, yes, it is extremely significant.74.73.142.163 (talk) 17:32, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Justin Timberlake

Where is Justin Timberlake? I didn't see him anywhere in the video. 70.169.152.43 (talk) 01:42, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He's the janitor when he say's "We're gonna need a cleanup on aisle 3", you can see him in the video at 1:11. --153.104.114.190 (talk) 04:13, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is this entry really necessary? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.10.97 (talkcontribs)

This writing is amazingly bad. -130.64.135.159 (talk) 06:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, this article is just as necessary as all of these articles. Pop culture is what it is. You are, of course, welcome to improve the writing to your heart's content. --Dynaflow babble 06:44, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to see some songwriting credits - I assume Timbaland was involved with Justin Timberlake at least on backup vocals. Anyone? 76.100.227.152 (talk) 16:36, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure it was entirely produced by The Lonely Island. They produce all their previous songs and videos, many of them parodies, which is why it sounds similar to other popular songs. And I'm pretty sure Justim Timberlake is just a visual cameo, unlike "Dick in a Box". If you listen closely, it sounds like Andy and Jorma doing their own backup vocals.70.94.56.187 (talk) 21:50, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to question whether the Janitor is actually Justin Timberlake, or whether it is instead Akiva Schaffer. I believe most people agree that Schaffer is the DJ in the video, and in some cases he looks remarkably like Timberlake. I haven't found anything official that states that Timberlake is in the video, neither from the Incredibad website nor on any Timberlake website. Can anyone get anything official or an appropriate source? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.109.84.5 (talk) 18:17, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pet Shop Boys homage?

Having just seen this for the first time, I'm surprised no one mentioned the obvious homages to the Pet Shop Boys in both song and video: the dead-on impression of Neil Tennant's pseudo-rap style and rhymes (see "West End Girls", the fake British accents ("I sawr a film ...") and usage ("Checked my phone and saw you rang ...") and the hairstyles and costumes (the glasses and scarves especially).

Looking around, I find that Flight of the Conchords' "Inner City Pressure" (both song and video, and also a homage/parody to/of "West End Girls". But so far no one who makes a reliable source. Oh well. Daniel Case (talk) 05:33, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Keep looking. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 05:49, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who plays the check-out girl?

Self-explanatory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Masternachos (talkcontribs) 01:15, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Akiva Schaffer in the video?

It says that Akiva (the 3rd member of The Lonely Island) was in the video as the DJ. However, the reference for it is simply the YouTube video link. Personally, I think the DJ is played by Justin Timberlake, since it looks more like him. Is there any way to verify who actually played this character? Jiran (talk) 05:32, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Justin Timberlake plays a stock boy or janitor in the supermarket. He's got a wig on. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 05:47, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but what about the DJ? Is he played by Justin Timberlake or Akiva Schaffer? - 99.236.24.87 (talk) 17:34, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's Akiva. It just looks like Timberlake. If you watch it in HD on YouTube and pause it at 2min13secs, you can tell. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 19:21, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
2min25secs has a better view. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 19:22, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

inspiration

Isn't the style of this song a parody to LL Cool J's Control Myself video? Or is it just me? --Waldir talk 11:32, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Akiva

It kinda looks like Akiva is the first rapper, if you notice he has a more defined line on his chin, than samberg does. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.238.200.35 (talk) 18:10, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps all mention of the word "prematurely" should be removed

Wikipedia's attempt to add a touch of sophistication has, in this case, failed miserably. CompuHacker (talk) 08:28, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Considering that's what happens, I don't quite understand your argument. Rwiggum (Talk/Contrib) 14:28, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

eminem in this?

It sounds like him @ 2:00, anyone know who it is that does that little part? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Megapeen (talkcontribs) 20:40, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It really does sound like Eminem... I haven't been able to find a single source that says that Eminem is actually performing in the song. Most people seem to think that it is a parody, much like the "Timbaland" style beat. Dreammaker182 13:03, 9 June 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreammaker182 (talkcontribs)

comedic value

This article is *probably unintentionally* as funny as the song. Sometimes it is not advisable to regurgitate events in formal tone simply to add content. Oh wikipedia. 203.206.243.41 (talk) 09:32, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot section is not necessary

I really do believe that the plot section for this song is unnecessary and somewhat imprecise. Not to mention that it is entirely referenced to YouTube. Any relevant information from this section (if any) should be transferred to another one. Does anyone concur? Milleniummaster18 (talk) 08:27, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Horrorist

Does anyone else think the way Samberg is dressed when he leaves the movies and refers to the fact that it was a horror film could be a reference to the video for The Horrorist's One Night in New York City?

J***

I added a redirect from J***_in_My_Pants to here (Jizz_in_My_Pants). It says in the first sentence "...known in the edited version as J*** in My Pants..." so I thought it would be helpful. Flash man999 (talk) 06:54, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
