Sterling Sandmann Knight[1][2] (born March 5, 1991[3]) is an American actor, and singer. He is best known for playing the teen heartthrob roles of Chad Dylan Cooper in Sonny With a Chance and Christopher Wilde in Starstruck. He will also be playing as Ty Parker on a upcoming movie Elle A Modern Cinderella Tale
Personal life
Knight was born in Houston, Texas.[3] He has a younger sister, Samantha Scarlett, and a younger brother, Spencer Shuga.[1] He lived in Texas before moving to L.A, California to pursue his acting career.
Knight had roles in several Houston theater productions including On Golden Pond, Lost in Yonkers, Bye Bye Birdie and Mad Adventures of Mr. Toad.[citation needed].
