Maria Carmina Muñiz Villaroel-Legaspi, also known as Carmina Villaroel (born in Laguna, Philippines in August 17, 1975) is a Filipino actress, television host, and model and former matinee idol.

Biography

Villaroel is a mestiza as her parents are of Spanish descent.[citation needed] She was one of the Regal Babies in early 1980s and she had several movies with the Philippine film production company Regal Entertainment. In mid-1990s, she moved to Viva Films, where she was paired in some of its movies with Rustom Padilla, whom she married then divorced. She is now with former matinee idol, actor and director Zoren Legaspi with whom she has twins, Maverick and Cassandra born in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. She is a close friend of the de Belen sisters, Gelli and Janice, with whom she works as hostesses in GMA variety show SiS.

She is a former ABS-CBN talents one of the host of Morning Girls aired on ABS-CBN Network last 2002. But Lately she decide to leave her home network and fuse to GMA Network joining the regular host of SiS and several show on GMA Network.
