Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. There is no reason to nominate an article for deletion if you would just like to see it merged with another article. You can just be bold and perform the merge yourself. If you think the merge may be contiversial you can put merge tags on the articles and allow other Wikipedians to discuss the issue for a reasonable amount of time.
