After their first year, students may decide to move into University Heights College Suites, a student housing complex a short walk from campus, which offers Sage students apartment-style living with fully furnished 2- and 4-bedroom units.

Sage College of Albany claims to be a dry campus, when actually the Residence Hall is dry since it is a freshman residence hall. Sodexho, Sage's main food distributor, has a liquor license but can only distribute alcohol in specific places on campus such as the Opalka Gallery .
