A little about moi..
Hello! I am/was/do:
- English.
- Born in Bishop Auckland and have since lived in Lewes, Seaford, Whitby, Sedgefield, Plymouth, Cawsand, Louth and Leeds.
- Of Norwegian descent - Jeg har familie i Norge, uttrykkelig Stavanger.
- I use Mac OS X and Ubuntu Linux in a dual-boot (Yaboot) configuration on an iBook G4.
- Currently studying Computer Science, English Literature, English Language, French and Music, unfortunately in Grimsby.
- I like swords and antique firearms. I own a 1796 pattern British Light Cavalry Sabre, a pair of Flintlock Duelling Pistols and a Napoleonic double-barrelled musket.
- Drive a 2002 Ford Fiesta Zetec S with a Zetec Engine.
- I am not a chav or a boy racer. I am a total computer geek. I like books, music, classical music - especially that of the renaissance and baroque periods - linux, programming, writing, vintage computing, greek mythology, slavic mythology, nordic mythology and vinyls.
- I also enjoy philosophising, stargazing and history, and am tolerant in most aspects (though not when chav culture or binge drinking are concerned) , a sarcastic, piss-taking socialist at heart, and an avid fan of David Lynch, Terry Gilliam, Wikipedia, Tim Moore and especially the 18th and 19th centuries. I have an interest but am not particularly knowledgeable in the Napoleonic Era, Napoleon and Nelson.
- My favourite holiday spot is Corsica, which is beautiful.
- Jack The Ripper is fascinating.
- Although I love technology, it is slowly turning our world into a meaningless bureaucracy.
