Firoza is a small town in Liaquatpur, in the tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan.[1]
History
The town developed around the railway station. It is said to have been named by the English after a woman who lived there.
Language
The native language is Saraiki as spoken by the majority of the population, while Punjabi is also used. Urdu and English are also increasingly used by the younger generation.

The main tribes of the town are the Jam, Thaheem, Mazari Unner, Jamali Baloch, Mirza, Gujjar, Dasti Baloch, Khawaja, Mian, Bohors, Rahmani, Bhatti, Baloch, Arain, Jat, Bhullar, Khosa Baloch, Khushk Baloch, Abbasi, malik, Jatoi Baloch,Rajput, Mirani,RAOs, Khokhar, Patafi, Palals, Kewad, Qureshi, Dhareja], Jat Warah, Korai Baloch, and Panwar.
Education
There are government-run secondary schools within the town, as well as private schools.

Tomb
It is said that there was an attack by non-Muslims that killed 22 Hafiz (Qur'an) and their teacher, Baba Babvi. Their tombs are located in the town.
