Firoza is a small town in Liaquatpur, in the tehsil of Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan.[1]

History

The town developed around the railway station. It is said to have been named by the English after a woman who lived there.

Language

The native language is Saraiki as spoken by the majority of the population, while Punjabi is also used. Urdu and English are also increasingly used by the younger generation.
