Musical Style

Son of Dork's sound could be considered pop, pop rock or pop punk. In reality, their musical style contains elements of all three. Influence is evident from pop punk bands such as Good Charlotte and Sum 41 as well as the pop rock of Avril Lavigne and more traditional boybands such as Westlife or Boyzone. Essentially, the band's musical style is remarkably similar to the "Nu Pop" of Busted.
