However after landing herself an extra's role on 'Britannia High' her career is off to a flying start as she now appears in the ITV soap, Emmerdale where shes part of the new family in the village. |

Sophie Powles (born 1988) originally from Cleethorpes, a small seaside town in North East Lincolnshire, an English actress most famous for her role as Ronnie in ITV musical series Britannia High.
Early life
Since a very young age Sophie has been involved with the performing arts in and out of school. She undertook her secondary education at Humberston School Grimsby year 2000-2005.
Career
Powles has guest-starred in dramas such as Holby City and Dalziel and Pascoe before landing her role in Britannia High. Her character Ronnie was the only one of the main cast who was not a student at the fictional school of performing arts.
