Ali Moeen Nawazish is notable for being the only person in the world to take 23 A Levels [1] and for founding and running a large multi-branched humanitarian foundation known as Step-Up Pakistan [2]. Born in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, he lived most of his life there. Both his parents work as doctors [3] . He studied at St.Mary's Academy, Roots International School System and is now studying at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University.

A Level result

Ali's A Level result was taken by the international media very quickly. He was interviewed by/quoted in almost all of leading newspapers and tv channels including Times Online, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, Khaleej Times, The Independent, BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera and many others[4][5][6][7][7][8] The media's response was highly positive, to say the least[9] . He was given a number of awards, including the Pride of Performance award [10] which is one of the highest honors in Pakistan. Ali was congratulated personally by the Pakistani prime minister [10] , and the chief-minister of Punjab [10] , the province he belongs to. Both of these people invited him a guest to rendezvous with him. In addition, many tv channels including BBC [10] in Britain and Geo [10] and PTV [10] amongst many others in Pakistan invited him as a guest to various shows, making him earn a tremendous deal of fame.

The A Level Subjects he took include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Further Mathematics, Sociology, Urdu Literature, Travel and Tourism, General Further Mathematics, Computer Studies, ICT, Psychology, Critical Thinking, Marine Sciences, English language, Thinking Skills, Geography, Pure Mathematics, General Paper, Business Studies, Applied Geography, General Studies and Human Biology[10] . He achieved A's in all the subjects apart from two of them [10] . He also received awards for the highest marks in the country in Computing and ICT [10].

Step Up Pakistan

Step Up Pakistan is an organization founded to help Pakistan primarily in the field of education [11] . One of its subsidiaries is thealevelchallenge [12] , which is a free website for all students. Students can ask any academic based questions and receive professional assistance at no price. Other projects of the organization are aimed to train teachers, to improve education in the back-ward areas, to improve the country's curriculum and education system , and to carry out other humanitarian efforts [2] .

Personal Life, inspiration and interests

Ali Moeen claims that he was an ordinary student [10] , whose academic performance oscillated as a child and some times barely passed [13] . During his O Levels, he was motivated by philosophies of men like Plato [14] , the desire to achieve greatness and elevate his homeland [15] . He received 9 A's in his O Level, along with a "Top in World" award in computer studies [13] . Then he achieved exponential success in his A Level.

Ali has many interests apart from academic ones. He is said to have founded a magazine and edited the school magazine. He also plays the guitar and piano and played for a musical band [16].

He is known to believe in nationalism and forms of reform. He is a practicing Muslim [17] and takes pride in it. He wants to pursue a research-based field [13] and try to help Pakistan later on. Ali is very famous in Pakistan, especially amongst the youth because of the free assistance he gives to students, online and otherwise.
