Set List

Support Acts

X Factor 2006 contestants, The MacDonald Brothers filled in as the tour's support act. During the New Zealand leg of the tour, the band was supported by New Zealand artist, Annabel Fay.[1]

Hope, the all-female girl group from X Factor UK Series 4 (2007) is the tour support act in London (Wembley Arena).

Shayne Ward, winner of X Factor 2005, supported the band's 10th anniversary concert on the 1st of June 2008. The concert was held in Europe's fourth biggest stadium, Croke Park. With a capacity of 82 500, it was be Westlife's biggest live concert to date.

Cancelled Shows

A Norwegian newspaper reported on February 26 that the May 26 Norway concert has been cancelled due to time constraints and transportation problems.[2] Following that, the May 25 Denmark concert, the May 28 Germany concert[3] and the May 29 Netherlands concert were also cancelled due to production and transportation problems.

An official statement was then released through the band's official website citing 'complicated production problems' as the reason for the cancellations[4] . The sudden cancellation of all the European mainland shows has sparked outrage among fans who were eagerly anticipating the band's concerts. Some of the cancelled dates were replaced with new dates in Belfast and Sheffield.

Both the Nottingham and Cardiff shows on the 19th & 20 May respectively have been cancelled due to Shane and Nicky's illness. Doctors have advised them to get proper rest in order to fully recover.[5] The band has stated they will be honouring tickets for the shows when they are rescheduled.

Critical Reception

Online music stores has added a descriptive review on 2008 October:

"After a staggering 10 years at the top of the UK charts, pop royalty Westlife release an amazing live DVD of their massive Croke Park stadium concert. On the 1st June 2008 Westlife returned to their home country of Ireland to play the biggest concert of their career to date. Fresh from the success of their massive 'Back Home' world tour, the band played to a sell-out, 82,500 strong crowd at Croke Park Stadium, Dublin in honour of Westlife's 10th anniversary. A truly unforgettable occasion for Kian, Mark, Nicky and Shane. This beautifully shot DVD perfectly captures the emotion, intensity, spirit and magical moments of the concert and is a must have for any fans that want a true reminder of this very special day. The DVD also features an amazing 30 minute behind the scenes documentary, 'The Road Home', allowing up close and personal access to the world's biggest boy band. Fans will get to see Westlife in the lead-up to the concert, preparing, planning and rehearsing for the greatest show of their lives. Also featured are the Top 10 Westlife videos as voted for by the fans on westlife.com."
