Jim Rathmann (born July 16 1928) is a former American race car driver who won the Indianapolis 500 in 1960.
As the Indianapolis 500 was included in the Formula One World Championship from 1950 to 1960, he is credited with participation in 9 grands prix, debuting on May 30, 1950. He won 1 race, achieved 4 podiums, and scored a total of 29 championship points.
He is the brother of Indy veteran Dick Rathmann.
