Johnny Cash's cover of "Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream" may have been ''released'' in 2010, but it would have been rather difficult for him to actually ''cover'' it in 2010, given that he died in 2003. Date of "Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream"

The article lists this:

1976: "Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream" (Bear Family Records) Germany

But in the Song book "Rise Up Singing," ( ISBN 0-9626704-9-9 ) which has an introduction by Pete Seeger, McCurdy's friend, page 161 shows the song's Copyright as TRO 1950.

The date of 1950 for that song is corroborated by this info at this link

TRO-©1950,1951 & 1955 Almanac Music, Inc. New York, N.Y. Copyrights renewed

Does anyone know the exact date the song was written? If so, please put that into the article. Thanks.
