==Operation==

'''WAKV''' is a completely automated radio station, operated 24 hours a day and seven days a week by a computer program. The station manager records news items once a day. Recordings of DJs talking about music are made often in years advance. The computer which operates the radio station is located in the basement of the owner's house at 213 Gilkey Street in Plainwell. The rusty, old transmitter tower which is non compliant with FCC and FAA regulations is located off the Kalamazoo River in Otsego.
