Deletion of The Great Binge
Hi -- You wrote on my talk page about the deletion of this article & then deleted it. If you're still interested, The Great Binge was deleted because the only source that could be found was an episode of the show QI, which is not considered a reliable source. Phil Bridger sums it up well: "This article is pure original research, and a Google Books search shows that many historical periods have been called "the great binge", most of them referring to economics (an excess of spending and speculation) rather than to consumption of alcohol and other drugs." I performed a quick websearch before deleting which confirmed that there appears no online evidence of the term being widely used in the sense of the article (overconsumption of drugs etc). Hope this helps! If you wish to contest deletion, let me know and I'll restore it and take it to Articles for deletion for community discussion.
