Dešen is a settlement in the Moravče municipality in central Slovenia. Traditionally the area was part of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]
Archaeological evidence shows that the area has been settled since the Bronze Age.[3]
