Kovačji Grad is a small settlement on the left bank of the river Kolpa to the south of Vinica in the Črnomelj municipality in the Bela Krajina area of southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Jugovzhodna Slovenija statistical region.[2]
