Kabirwala is a town of Khanewal District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The town is the headquarters of Kabirwala Tehsil, an administrative subdivision of the district. Kabirwala lies 10 km north of the district capital Khanewal on the Multan-Jhang road. Kohiwala is major town sited along the Multan road.

History

The city is named Kabirwala after Hazrat Baba Pir Kabir, who lived in the area. The city also contains a historic tomb of Hazrat Khaliq Wli, in Mauza Khati Chore (along Multan- Sarai Sidhu Road, 24 Kilometers in west of Kabirwala city. Kabirwala is also historically popular for having two Shamshan Ghaats, Ram Chotra and Lachman Chotra, along the bank of Ravi river. There is a Mandar building in Sarai Sidhu, a sub town of Kabirwala. Sarai Sidhu, a historic city, used to be the tehseel headquarter of the whole district Khanewal, before 1937. The famous saint Abdul Hakim and his tomb is also located in this area in a sub tehsil city of Abdul Hakim. Mr. Mehmood ul Hasan, a renowned Agri scientist and research specialist, working at University of Bonn (Germany) also born and completed his early education from this city. There are two colleges in the city, for male and female students. In the male college Professor Allah Ditta Sajid is the principal. Crops such as cotton, wheat, and rice are grown in the surrounding area

Kabirwala is in Punjab Province, Pakistan. Its geographical coordinates are 30°20'10" North, 70°43'30" East.[1] It is one of four tehsils in Khanewal District.[2]There are 34 unions in Kabirwala.[2]

Kabirwala was part of Multan until restructuring made the largest sub division of Khanewal district."PIR KABIR" is the place which have history. This city called Kabirwala due to a great saint Hazrat Baba Pir Kabir lived in this area.

Kabirwala is a city north of Khanewal at MultanJhang road 40 km from Multan to Jhang and is part of the district Khanewal.Kabirwala is a fertile land when it comes to resources. It's a land of ruins, rivers and lush green fields.In the city of Kabirwala there are two markets (main bazaar and short bazaar) and a market at Sardar pur road, Kukar Hatta road. Kabirwala has police stations, two degree colleges for boys and girls and one commerce college.

This city is also known as the City Of Mangos.

Nestle has a large milk processing plant, in Kabirwala. The plant has a processing capacity of two million litres of milk a day, which is set to rise to three million in the future. Nestle collects milk from 140,000 farmers in the Punjab, who receive more than CHF120m (50.9m [pounds sterling]

There are two Police Stations are working and a Tehsil Court is also here. There is a 3rd Biggest Islamic School of Pakistan in Kabirwala called by Darr-ul-aloom Eid Gah Kabirwala. There are more than 7 Banks are working in Kabirwala.and in this city too many Floor Mills, Textile Mills, Agri Culture Farms, Poultry Farms, Cotton Factory and Oil Mills and Paper Mills are Working in Kabirwala and there are too many Bricks Company Working in Kabirwala and there is a largest Coal Trader, Chuahdery Coal Traders Kabirwala Company is supplying Coal to all these Bricks Companies. There is a Telephone Exchange in Kabirwala and all of the Mobile Companies are working in Kabirwala. There is also a Cricket (KCC) and a Football (KFC) Team in Kabirwala . There are 2 Bus Stations in Kabirwala.
