Achievements

This very rudimentary article should mention at least some of the numerous achievements of Paul Werbos. For example, he was one of the original three two-year Presidents of the International Neural Network Society (INNS).

He also has won the IEEE Neural Network Pioneer Award, for the discovery of the fundamental backpropagation algorithm and other basic neural network learning designs such as Adaptive Dynamic Programming.
