The Raconteurs is a collaborative band between Jack White of The White Stripes and Brendan Benson.
The full band consists of:
- Jack White - vocals, guitars, songwriting
- Brendan Benson - vocals, guitars, songwriting
- Jack Lawrence (of The Greenhornes) - bass
- Patrick Keeler (of The Greenhornes) - drums
Their currently untitled debut album is nearing the end of production, and according to White will likely be released in early 2006.
The band's debut single "Steady As She Goes"/Store Bought Bones" is due to be released on January 30 2006 [1]. It will be limited to 1 000 copies.
