Cirsium quercetorum is a species of thistle which is endemic to the coast of California. Its common names include brownie thistle and Alameda thistle. This perennial plant grows clumped low to the ground, has spiny lobed toothy leaves and spiny thistle flowers which may be brownish dirty white to purple. This is a common plant found in grassy areas in coastal California north of approximately Santa Barbara.
