Released on July 10, 2010, the Fighting Falcons logo in its current form is controversial to those in the logo design industry. The logo in question bears a strong resemblance to a logo created by Mike Ivall of Ivall Design.[4]The controversy stems from the similarity of the beak in particular, which is nearly identical to Ivall's design.[5] The new eye bears a strong resemblance to the eye in the old Arizona Cardinals logo.[5] The original logo by Mr. Ivall was first released as concept art for the Chicago Blackhawks on Icethetics.info on July 8, 2008. [6]
