Revision as of 18:43, 16 July 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Stock photography do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Finngall talk 17:36, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Stan Polley. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Jauerback (talk) 21:48, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have NEVER made any edits to any pages on wikipedia (unless you count this particluar entry). I have never viewed the page you are accusing me of having edited, let alone having made any edits to it. Kind of hard to change a page you have never viewed. Who is Stan Polley, anyway?

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Stan Polley, you will be blocked from editing. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 17:01, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Welcome

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (163.231.6.66) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! Your edits to January 8

Dear 163.231.6.66,
Some of your edits on the page January 8 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 21:28, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lep Zeppelin

Regarding your grammar edit to Led Zeppelin, that page is governed by WP:ENGVAR, which is our policy on regional variations of English. As LZ was British, that page will maintain British english, and using plurals for a non-plural band name is correct in that dialect (weird, I know). --King Öomie 16:16, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ahem. See above. --King Öomie 16:29, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

September 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Led Zeppelin has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Led Zeppelin. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. King Öomie 16:32, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Led Zeppelin. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Leave it alone. You're at two now. King Öomie 16:33, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You were BLOCKED for this last month. Leave the grammar alone. --King Öomie 18:14, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

actually no, that was that other guy. Still, leave it alone. --King Öomie 18:15, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

July 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Gossip appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 16:46, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did to Gossip, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. McGeddon (talk) 18:10, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Gossip. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Coasterlover1994Leave your mark! 18:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
