Major problem with the plot is that when a neonazi is accused of renting the van where the bomb is he denounce it, the police investigate and find him not guilty. But when a legit businessman in recycling business denounces that he hasn't approved a container shipment it is not investigated.

"Green Piece"

"Green Piece" is the seventeenth episode in the fifth season of the American crime drama CSI: NY. The episode aired on March 11, 2009.

Plot

Adam is playing roller hockey with some friends in the neighborhood. As he is retrieving the ball underneath a parked car, a van suddenly explodes and sends him flying on to the car. The nearest house is destroyed by the fire but Adam hears cries for help from the rubble and rescues the man, Felix, with some help from a friend. Mac finds ammonium nitrate in the charred van, giving a clue that the bomb is "high grade stuff" and not just any homemade Molotov cocktail. He and Danny have the uneviable task of sifting through the huge pile of debris to look for any scraps leftover to could lead to the bomb or its maker. Since valuable evidence was destroyed by the positioning of the bomb, CSI team is forced to be creative in order to catch the bomber.
