Due to Pappas Telecasting's continuing financial problems, KVVV was taken off the air 2003, and the station remained silent until after it was sold to Uniglobe in March 2010.

KVVV-CA is a low-power Class A television station in the Houston area, owned by Uniglobe Central America Network LLC. It broadcasts in digital on UHF channel 28.

History

The station began in 1988 as K53FV on channel 53, as a translator of KAZH, then known as KLTJ. The call sign was changed to KVVV-LP on February 1, 2000.

Due to Pappas Telecasting's continuing financial problems, KVVV was taken off the air 2003, and the station remained silent until after it was sold to Uniglobe in March 2010.
