Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Muinul Islam (Template:Lang-bn)is the second largest Islamic University in South Asia and the largest in Bangladesh. It follows the Darul Ulum system introduced by Darul Ulum Deoband, an Islamic School propagating Sunni Islam in Indian Subcontinent. Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Muinul Islam is considered one of the top Islamic educational institutions in the world. By the order of Hakimul Ummat Hajrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (Rah.), his favorite disciple and student Shaik-ul-Islam Hajrat Maulana Habibullah (Rah.), founded the Jamiah in 1315 Hijri and he is helped in this task by Hajrat Maulana Abdul Wahed (Rah.), Hajrat Maulana Sufi Azizur Rahman (Rah.) and Hajrat Maulana Abdul Hamid(Rah.). Every year the Jamiah produces hundreds of Ulema.
Mission and Objectives
Education System
The Darul Ulum has divided its education system into six major levels.
In primary level, Urdu; Farsi; Arabic; Nahu-Sarf; Siraat-un-Nabi; Fiqh etc are taught along with the Mathematics; History; Bangla; Englishand Geography.
In secondary level, Higher Arabic Grammar; Arabic Literature; Fiqh; Usul-e-Fiqh; Logics; Ilmul-Balagat etc are taught.
In higher secondary level, higher Fiqh and Usul-e-Fiqh; higher Logic; higher Arabic Literature;higher Economics; higher Philosophy; higher Islam History etc are taught.In graduate level, Tasauf; Hadith and usul-e-Hadith; Tafsir and usul-e-Tafsir; Arabic and Farsi poetry; Solar Science; Ilmul Faraez etc are taught.
In post graduate level, six major Hadith Books: Bukhari Sharif, Muslim Sharif, Abu Dawd Sharif, Tirmidi Sharif, Nasaee Sharif and Ibn Majah are mainly taught.
There are also many other facilities for the students who have passed post graduate level, for further study in the field of Islamic Law; Arabic Language and Literature; Higher Hadith Study; Ilm-e-Tajbid abd Qiraat and Bengali Literature and Islamic Studies.

This following magazine is being published monthly by Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Muinul Islam.
