Cottus petiti, also known as Chabot Du Lez (Chub Of Lez) in french[1], is a species of fish in the Cottidae family[2]. It is endemic to France, found only in a small 3 km stretch of the Lez River[3]. Its natural habitats are rivers and freshwater springs, which are threatened by habitat loss. The males of this species are typically 56 cm in length.
